Walter
I don't know how many times, I had the urge to bring "Walter" on my monitor. Modeled and rendered in 2006 on a boring Sunday afternoon in Guildford / UK.
Captain Scarlet
During my time on the kids TV show "Captain Scarlet" in Pinewood Studios / London 2005. Originally hired as a Ligthing TD I was tasked to design, model, texture and render a 15 secs sequence of a flyover across desert like landscape.
"Look into my eyes..."
My first test using Maxon's BodyPaint for texturing. This character was done for the cinematic sequence of the RPG "Sacred" by Ascaron. The goal was to give a skeleton warrior some kind of facial expression. And as we know: "eyes" are the mirror of the soul. The cinematic was successfully produced during my time at MBA Studios in Summer 2003.
Toys...
best friend. Again an image done by me for training purposes only. With this rendering I tried to achieve the feeling of a toy figurine. Done during my time in London sometime in late 2005.
The king is dead ..long live the king
This picture was done during my time as one of the studio managers at MBA Studios. Entirely done by me using Lightwave and a bit of image sharpening in summer 2003.
Here Kitty Kitty...
My first quadruped setup and animation. The rig and animation was created in Project Messiah an animation package that is available for all major 3D applications. This animation was done for training and for a pitch to get a deal to create a cinematic sequence at MBA Studios in late 2003.

Rabbits don't come easy...
Back in 2003 I was contacted to make the music CD cover (front and back) for Helloween's (popular Heavy Metal band) album "Rabbits don't come easy". .... fun times ...when your clients wake up after partying at 5 pm to give your feedback..lol...
Flip the coin...
Done back in 2002 (in only 6 days...modeling, texturing, rigging, animating and rendering) in good old Germany. Initially done to test skinning in messiah than turned in to a "fun" project.

Long time no see...
Finally! I decided to take care of my "garden" again. And the loss of my grandpa put things in "perspective". Even the sunny San Francisco weather doesn't help to change or help to improve my emotional state. Maybe a little bit of "gardening" will help, planting some fruits of my labor. So I decided to transfer my website into a blog. I know that some of the pictures are rather old but still, these pictures are a map of my path ....my path to the West.
